Christ, Our Sacrifice, the Cross, His Altar

This year is especially close to our hearts. It marks the launch of our fifth year since Willow Grace Retreats first gathered, and five, in Scripture, is the number of grace. What a fitting place to celebrate it: at the altar, together with the women who've walked this journey with us. Abraham once built an altar and laid the son he loved upon it, trusting God completely with the outcome. That same trust is the invitation this retreat holds out to us. Not an altar of works or striving, but of surrendered, persistent prayer. Like the persistent widow, we are called to keep praying, keep knocking, keep believing, even when the answer feels slow in coming. So come ready to lay every distraction down, to meet with Him honestly, and to be met in return. Come for the community, the rest, and the deep, reverent, relational time with God we get to share together. Come as you are. Leave changed.

Meet Me at the Altar

Men ought always to pray and not faint.
